Press Release: Completion of Marasi Marinas Business Bay First Phase

Marasi Marina IWC Dubai

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – April 4, 2018 – International Waterfront Consultants, LLC (IWC) was commissioned by Homeport FZE, the Marina Development Manager, to act as the marina design consultants for the Marasi Marinas Business Bay Project. The marina is a first-class facility with architecturally-themed concrete floating pontoons held in place by the Seaflex anchoring system.

The facility provides 157 berths for vessels ranging from 8 – 35m in length, access to two floating F&B units and numerous private floating villa residences. Unique details of the project include the innovative incorporation of palm trees cast within the floating pontoons, complete with an irrigation system. The first phase is complete.

“Through the inclusion of floating palm trees and floating public spaces, IWC were able to transform Marasi’s recreational boating facilities from an otherwise traditional urban waterfront marina to a more eco-friendly open space for all the public to enjoy,” said Christopher Goshow, Principal of International Waterfront Consultants.
